IMAGINE Online Creative Fair 2020
The global pandemic have altered the art & design industry and change the way we conduct future creative events. Despite the setback, we are bringing the event online to provide continuous support for new and emerging artists, designers and artisans from around the world to sell original art, prints and other handmade crafts.
Buyers and collectors can view and purchase a wider variety of arts and crafts through this online fair as well.
The theme for this year’s art fair is "IMAGINE". I was inspired by the meaningful lyrics of John Lennon’s song Imagine. It gave me the urge to become an advocate for unity, diversity, and sustainability. As the world grapples with the impact of Covid-19, it is imperative to create a positive change and there has not been a better time to do it than now.
As a founder of YDJ and organizer of this online event, I aim to create such awareness through art & design. It provides a perfect gathering platform for artists and designers all over the world to also become advocates and help amplify the message that sustainable living, unity and diversity can make us stronger.
Objectives
- To create awareness about unity, diversity, and sustainability.
- Meet United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
We champion any work by individuals, NGOs or companies that support global sustainable development via the three qualities.
Launch date
The tentative launch date of the online art fair is on 7th September, 2020 and will run for 15 consecutive days.
Funding
We are looking to raise RM2,200 for the following purposes:
- Development of the online marketplace for the creative fair.
- Launch social media marketing campaigns to promote the fair globally.
